What is the procedure for resetting factory settings for an HP stream laptop? Core i7

Turn on your HP laptop, then immediately press the F11 key repeatedly until the Choose an option screen appears. Click Troubleshoot. Click Reset this PC. Then you have the option to keep or delete your files.
Ps. Make sure all external devices are unplugged from your laptop.

Anyone know how to factory reset an HP Stream 14? My laptop's been acting up, and I think I need a fresh start.

Yeah, I can help with that! First, make sure you back up anything important because a factory reset will erase everything on your device.

ok I’ll make sure to save my stuff. What’s the next step?
Turn off the laptop completely, and then turn it back on. Right when you see the HP logo, press F11 repeatedly. This will open the Recovery Manager.
Once you’re in the Recovery Manager, you’ll see a couple of options. Choose Troubleshoot, then select Reset this PC. After that, you’ll have two choices: “Keep my files” or “Remove everything.” Since you want a full factory reset, choose Remove everything.

It could take anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours, depending on the speed of your laptop and the option you choose. Just let it do its thing, and it’ll restart automatically once the reset is complete.
