I just installed my new AIO cooler, and I’m ready to overclock my CPU. Any tips?

What are you using? A 240mm or 360mm AIO?

360mm. I went with the Corsair H150i Elite Capellix. It looks amazing, and the RGB is just… chef’s kiss.

Good choice. But are you sure you need to overclock? Most CPUs these days, especially Intel’s and AMD’s high-end ones, already boost themselves pretty aggressively.

Yeah, but manual overclocking can still push performance further, especially if Ali wants to squeeze every bit of power out of his setup.

Exactly! Plus, it’s fun to mess around with. I’ve got a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, so I’m curious how far I can push it.

Careful with that chip. The X3D models don’t like overclocking much because of the stacked cache. You might end up hurting performance instead of improving it.

True. Those chips are already optimized for gaming out of the box. But if you really want to overclock, focus on the RAM and Infinity Fabric speed. AMD loves faster memory.

Hmm, good point. I’ve got 6000MHz DDR5 RAM. Should I push it higher?

You could try, but make sure your motherboard can handle it. Also, test stability using tools like MemTest86 or Prime95.
