This is not a intel vs AMD thread, If your opinion is influenced. I guess if it came down to whether or not i wanted to have intels pins on the CPU or motherboard I will leave them on the motherboard. I guess my problem with them is their weird design and how fragile they are and difficult to bend back
what is AMD?

AMD is different then CPU or the motherboard? I’m building a PC, and I’m wondering.

For Intel CPUs, the pins are typically on the motherboard, not the CPU itself. The CPU has pads that connect to the pins on the motherboard.
