RX 6800 or RTX 3080

So AMD just reveled their some GPU and i am confused between them. I am thinking to go with Rx 6800xt because of their 16gb of vram but i am also looking to render stuff so a friend of mine said that RTX 3080 are better.
Need some suggest

Which app you're going to use for rendering. For me both GPU's can do the same thing in terms of productivity and gaming.

Thinking to go with RTX 3080 to handle games at 1440p at high to ultra settings for 5 to 6 years. ?

Well i am running 3080 at high ultra setting 4k with 10gb of VRAM. I didn't see any issues in term of gaming and productivity. For 5-6 years i have doubt the 3080 would do this or at least at frame rates close to those you get today.

Its all depends.
How long the gpu meets your needs will be heavily dependent on your expectations.

hi guy, need help. I know 6800 or 3080 is meant for gaming. But I just have one question. I'm looking for a budget graphics card mainly use for desktop publishing, illustrator and photoshop? Appreciate any advise. Thanks.

You're comparing the GTX 1080 with today's standards that’s a mediocre 1440p GPU now.

I know but i am looking for the GPU which can run long. Don't know if 6800xt 16gb vram will help or not for coming years also i see many upcoming games required 10 vram in next gen games. I am so curious
